# How Event Insurance Helped Our Client Work a Ritz-Carlton Naples Gala

Our client was hired for a gala at The Ritz-Carlton, Naples, but the venue required general liability insurance. A one-time event policy for about $200 solved it.

Our client was hired to work a gala hosted by The Ritz-Carlton, Naples. It was a great opportunity, but there was one catch: the Ritz required proof of general liability insurance before our client could operate on their property.

## The Problem

Because of the nature of their business, our client did not carry general liability insurance. They had never needed it. Buying a full annual general liability policy just for one event would have been expensive and did not make sense for a one-off job.

## Our Solution: Event Insurance

Instead of an annual policy, we found our client an event insurance policy for roughly $200. It provided general liability coverage only for the dates of the event, which was exactly what the Ritz needed to see.

We helped our client get the certificate of insurance to the venue so they could show they met the Ritz-Carlton's insurance requirements before the gala.

## The Result

Our client met the venue's requirements, worked the gala, and spent an amount on insurance they were comfortable with. No long-term commitment and no paying for coverage they did not need the rest of the year.
